that is characterized by tortuous dilated
blood vessels

) radiating outward from the
PYLORUS
. The vessel pattern resembles the stripes on the surface of a
watermelon
. This lesion causes both acute and chronic
GASTROINTESTINAL HEMORRHAGE.
